Happy St Patricks Day!
This year St. Patrick’s day is different, not just because it is the 100th anniversary of our independence, because circumstances have not improved greatly for many people in crisis and oppressed areas of the world. This St Patrick’s day is different because we see war in Europe, and we are thinking of the plight of the bombarded people of Ukraine. With this in mind, one of our SureSkills colleagues Kyle Moffett, has joined a convoy to the Ukraine Border with a van full of much needed supplies donated by SureSkills.
Kyle will be traveling in convoy with our friends from PTAqua , Sherry FitzGerald , E&M Security, Cube Construction & Mega Bikes. We do this on behalf of all of our stakeholders - suppliers, customers and staff. Through contacts in Ukraine we were asked to focus on men’s support and have provided; 120+ pairs of hiking boots, 400 + thermal tops, thermal bottoms, hats, gloves, head torches and first aid boxes (donated by Purple Panda & Bryan S Ryan ).
We wish Kyle and the rest of the convoy best of luck and a safe trip. And we wish the people of Ukraine peace and independence. As mentioned we would also like to extend a special thank you to our suppliers PurplePanda, Brian S Ryan and Portwest for their generous support of our delivery.
